The Amazing People Project Announcement

It’s hard to imagine that when I started this blog, about a year and a half ago I would still be doing it now. It has been a journey of ups and downs, and I have gained so much from this experience.

So much has changed during this time and I’m proud of how far my blog and I have come. I love this place and the comfort it provides me. I can’t wait to see where it takes me in the future but sometimes it can feel a little distant. And for a long time, I’ve wanted to set up a project that directly and personally reaches out to you.

Life can be difficult and lonely. When I was in a dark place and could see no way out, I desperately wanted someone, anyone, to tell me that everything was going to be okay, that I was okay. Sometimes we all need a bit of reassurance or someone to listen, to tell us that we are not alone and that everything will be alright. And that’s okay.

I believe that there is something amazing in everyone but it’s not always easy to see it in ourselves which is the purpose of The Amazing People Project. I want to be here for you and help remind you just how amazing you are because sometimes we all need that little reminder.

I want to send you (and as many people as possible) a handmade card doing just that. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you are or what you are going through, I am here for you and will make time for you. It might be that you are struggling right now or that you would like a card to save and open on a day you really need it. Or perhaps you want to request a card for someone you care about. It doesn’t matter.

If you would like me to send you, or someone you care about a card then send me an email at
Please include your address (or the address of the person you are nominating) and a little bit about why you would like a card. It doesn’t have to be detailed, it can be as simple as ‘I need cheering up’.

This project is for you so please don’t be afraid that your struggles are too small, there is no such thing. You are important and you matter. I want to send as many cards as possible.

I look forward to hearing from you

Until next time
